New Classes!

Both of the boys have moved up classes at school. And it wasn't nearly as traumatizing as I was worried it was going to be. I think I had the hardest time with my kids suddenly being considered a Pre-Schooler and a Toddler. It's too soon! Those are my babies!

Henry was a little hesitant the first two days on drop-off, but he warmed up to the new class pretty fast. I think he loves being a "big boy"! He was pretty much destroying the baby room with his rambunctiousness, so the teachers are probably happy too. ;)

Now instead of being on the opposite side of a window, they are all the way down the hall from each other... Henry loves leading the way over to his brother, he doesn't even wait for me to catch up!

Thomas seems pretty pumped about his new class as well. He had been stressing over the move up and had told me several times he didn't want to move up to the new class. So of course I was stressing about it too! But he moved with 4 of his friends, is back with his bff and has a teacher he already knows - it was the easiest move ever!

Henry gets to work trying to destroy this room as well. Henry is pretty much a destroyer of everything he thinks he can. Good thing he is so darn cute about it...!

We had to revert back to using the sticker chart again. Turns out it is pretty typical for kids to regress - especially if they are stressed about something. So we picked out a super cool fire truck and stickers for him to have something to focus on. It has worked like a champ and he just finished it off today - as you can tell, he was pretty excited about it!

Here's hoping with the big move all wrapped up, we'll be back to normal. A mom can dream anyhow... ;)
